Sal's Tips
1. When creating your site using the WS SiteBuilder GDI Tools, write and prepare your content off-line and then copy
and paste it into your site.
That way when you find out the Web Site Builder did not save anything
possibly because you took too long to add and save your work on-line, or
your overall session timed out.
Many people prepare their work off-line and spend very little time on-line during publication.
If you do not do this you risk randomly losing your work. At the very least, do your work in small batches and save your work often when working on-line with the site builder system.
2. GDI is a great stand alone business all by itself but in order to effectively use the product and of course build a business with it, you must have valid reasons for deciding on this business platform.
The desire to have an on-line business is what most people have and bring to the table when they first get started. The desire is all well and good but once you are into the GDI business system for a while, you will soon realize, just as I have, that many folks use their site(s) and the overall system a little differently.
- Some folks use the system for their own off-line or on-line business platform. They design their own site or have an in-house employee do it for the business.
-- This is a great way to sell the overall GDI product to a business.
--- The monthly cost is inexpensive
and it is a direct expense to the business every month, so it is a write off.
--- Also note that in addition an Internet business site, most businesses will also need an email auto-responder system that can be easily incorporated into their site. If you offer the GDI business platform to a business, more than likely if you refer them to your auto-responder system, they may buy that too!
- Some folks use the GDI system as a base to market other system's. There are many system's on-line right now using the GDI system, as an inclusive base program, and you may have even bumped into them while doing your own online research for valid online business opps. Unfortunately, if are just one single person, as I am, you may end up getting caught up in this never ending cycle of stopping and starting your primary GDI business site, so you can be involved with other business entities helping people grow more than one business.
-- Keep in mind at all times, that you can have multiple GDI businesses but you cannot have more than one GDI business in your own name. You can have a GDI business for every family member of legal age. You can also have a GDI business for each business entity that you own too, as long as it is completely separate from your primary personal or GDI business platforms, then it is acceptable. A word of warning here though, you do not want to build upon something that may or may not be around later on. When I last checked any time a GDI business owner falls out, all is lost, but if a valid business is built and the business is willed to someone, then the business entity can be transferred to another party without loss. (Of course this is at the discretion and approval of GDI, so if you are doing any long term planning for residual income, do the research and get the facts.)
